Thrifting and finding some fabulous items

Here are my this week findings.

Childrens Book: "Arthur Spiderwick's Field Guide to The Fantastical World Around you". I have only heard about this book series but it is after my childhood. I fell for the illustrations...as soon I opened the book to browse my jaw dropped. That's how beautiful it is.

The book writer is Holly Black and illustrator Tony DiTerlizzi.

This book is designed so beautifully, some pages can be unfolded to bigger format pictures...it describes fantastic creatures and the illustrations of them are amazing.

What a fabulous find with 3 EURs.

I am thinking to watch The Spiderwick Chronicles movie now...and as I looked into it there is also TV series that I was not aware.

Then I came across this Atlas of Wine.

It is about all wine producing areas that there are around the world. Showing even wine bottle labels etc.
Amazing book to have for 2 EUR in pristine condition.

Maybe I am under influence of this movie: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15282746/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk

When out thrifting, I always keep eyes peeled for tablecloths and bed spreads.

This one was tagged as tablecloth. It is linen in my opinion but I am not sure. When unfolded this cloth is double bed size...very large. I have red striped curtains in my living room so I will see how well its going to play out.

I found this sculptural vase and its fabulous. It has sticker attached on the base " The Pier" . At first I thought it is Pier 1 but now after little Googleing...It seems to be sold by UK furniture shop that is now taken over by Myakka.

It has been wonderful treasure hunting week. Looking forward to new discoveries.
