  I' we been thrifting as usual in any possible occasion, just have not gotten around to document on blog. I shared this pic on Insta so here is quick post to blog. People who love pottery know Nicholas Mosse. He is renowned for his ceramic sponge wear. When I saw these, I immediately knew what these were and of course these are stamped on the bottom too. Maybe there is another collection starting? Who knows.   I have gathered to this blog post my couple of weeks thrift finds and what fabulous finds they are. Wow! I am over the moon that I have found two high quality designer items during last week.  This felt cross body bag fits laptop and more. It is by Hey-Sign   https://hey-sign.com/ This is high end designer item. I think it was donated because it has tiny flaw underneath. Of course as their prices are so high...they cant afford to sell items with defect. But this tiny spot is barely visible and on the side where bag is going against body. It will be worn with use anyways. I got this bag for 15 EUR when that size bags are over 200 EUR at their website. Oh, what a find!!! Second designer find are 6 plates by T&G Woodware Ltd from UK.   I recently treated myself to add addition to my collection. Here is amazing colorful ceramic teapot by Doirin Saurus.   "Do buy or not to buy" I asked myself multiple times when  spotted this Belleek Shakespeare bust . It was most likely the most expensive item in whole charity shop. I decided to: Buy! The stamp beneath dates it to 1980-1993. Vintage and in very good condition.   Underneath of all finds on main photo I have this tablecloth or maybe it is even bead spread...who knows. Its thick and good quality and has elephants on it...Indian? I think the thread might even be silk? There is no label and I am no textile specialist but it looks and feels fabulous.  Stunning find. This is fabulous red candle holder. It has carved eagles or cranes carved on the sides. It has also incised makers mark "Taelstone 1999 C " I could not find any info about but it or maker but looks beautiful quality to me and is heavy to hold one long candle and not fall over. Handmade turned and carved mango wood jar. Very nice indeed, to store anything inside really. 100% silk scarf by Tie Rack. Hand turned and stitched edge tell the quality oh it and I love its colors.  From Estonia I got the tablecloth and necklace, rest is from Ireland. I spent a week in Estonia and in between of galleries, museums and concert visits I found a moment to pop in Uuskasutuskeskus shop. And it was waiting there for me...because look how well it goes with the pottery I found later in Ireland. Its a bit strange indeed but it makes me happy. I found these three vintage from 1980s pots from one charity shop in Ireland. They are all signed O'Neill Ireland...one has date 1989 as well. They are beautiful and I believe them to be by Rob O'Neill who in those years worked in Bunratty and Waterford.   OMG. I loooove this lamp that I found at charity shop. It is not signed but it is European origin because of its EU plug...looking at the cord and switch it looks vintage 50s, 60s. I did Google Image search and 2 options...one almost identical was sold in the past at Poshmark and titeled as Murano. Sadly didnt saw the price it was sold for. Other similar lamp picture came up and said it was Polish origin. If its Murano...Wow. I consider it Epic find anyway because its so beautiful how those blue and green swirls show from white glass when it is lit up. Photo does not do it justice. Other art glass find on same day.  Whooa. This thrifting could have subtitle Pottery but I thing Deruta deserves highlighting. I found these three Deruta plates. Love to see the hand painted decoration on them. Oozes charm.  Here is my fabulous Doirin Saurus ceramic collection.  First time I saw her work I was immediately drawn to drawings, colors and whimsy. All works are wonderfully wonky as well. She is now in her 70s and resides in West Cork, Fethard. She earns additional living by doing pottery classes. The most usual her items you can find in Ireland art galleries are mugs...bowls and plates are rare.  I am now aiming to buy 4 more plates but it is not easy. I know they are out there because I was only able to afford buy 2 plates in the beginning and there were more left in that gallery but when will people starting to sell them is a question...I think everyone keeps them because these are easily favorite things to own. I have seen also tea pots with the whimsy portraits and then there are abstract sculptural vases that I have seen, similar abstract pattern drawn on them as my smaller bowl here in the picture.  So, there is plenty of space to grow my collection. Hunt is on!
