  Here is a wonderful art glass bead necklace that i found. Super artsy and BOHO looking. I love it. Underneath it is linen tablecloth...that I also have found in the past by - yes, you guessed it, thrifting! 😌 This is so charming watercolor Nasturtiums by Valerie A Lane. But I tried to find something about her and could not. Maybe she has changed last name (by marrying). It is original and very skillfully drawn. This picture whispers to my soul ever so quietly. In one my earlier blog post I told that I have discovered Publisher Rizzoli. So, here is a second book that I found by that publisher called " One Mans Folly: The Exceptional Houses of Furlow Gatewood " . It is about our living environment and designing it. When I was looking this book up on the internet I stumbled upon fabulous YouTube channel with these kind of books review. What a treat!  Again looking at the photo...does it seem to me or it is happening that my hauls turn out to be color coordinated? I swear, it just happens. Here I have items picked up from two charity shops. I love this coffee table book of Victorian Style by Judith & Martin Miller, Photography by James Merrell.  It covers all aspects of Victorian Style, architecture, interior, furniture, textile, china, glass, silver. Beautiful photos. I will spend many happy hours browsing and reading this one. Other aspect of buying used books is that you may find something from previous owners in between it pages.  Inside this book I found printed letter reading: "The Eurovision would like to say a big Thank You Gemma for putting in effort and hard work into this years show Eurovision 2000". It is dated 26.08.2000 and signed by Flynn.  How intriguing is that!?  Irish towns are mostly very charming. Clonmel is one of them. I've been there multiple times, recently because there five charity shops. You are bound to find at least something and yes, I never returned empty handed. So, here is one Saturday's charity shop haul. Camembert plate Porcelain plate by BIA - there is actually a set of 4 cheese plates. Unfortunately I only found one but I love the graphics and I will use it for eating all sorts...not only cheese. Necklace Wow, that necklace is something else. It is a definite eye catcher but at the same time it is not too over the top and that's why love it.  Pottery vase   I like its roughness. It has a seal kind of incised mark of an apple (or heart )and unreadable text on the edges. But Google Lens helped me out and I found that it is by PotSmiths Pottery that is in Co.Donegal at Ray Cottage. Sadly, I cant find more info about the main potter there or their story but from what I see on Google Images, they have very interes...

  This haul on the picture is from Charity Shop where I usually don't find much but this time stars aligned. I don't know how sometimes you just fall into the "finding items mode" that you like. Two interior decorating books. I get a lot of inspiration to buy items from these books. Those help you to develop an ability to visualize how something might look in the interior and what style or vibe that specific decor item helps to create in the room. "The Thrifty Decorator " by Jocasta Innes.  This book really gives detailed instructions how to do something (using sponge or plastic for painting surfaces, stenciling ) like upcycleing or how to do blinds and other textiles etc. "Design and Decorate Interiors " by Lesley Taylor Here you can get tips on how to create certain styles ( like rustic country cottage style etc ) and book helps you to achieve certain look that you fancy.  Then we have a XL format Taschen Publisher book curated by Terry Jones of...
