Couple of weeks ago I went treasure hunting to charity shops on weekend as I often do.

On the table there I noticed a book shaped object with attractive Tango dancers.

I lifted it, it felt heavy and looking at it it seemed like decorative peace.

It had nice quotes on each side. When looking it backside it said "glass on copper"

among other information. Yes, please! As I love anything craft or art related I grabbed it

fast. At home I had a closer look and Googled. I love when this happens...that the

art world unfolds for you with something new that you did not know existed before. All because

of a find from charity shop.

 Isn't these fabulous? Houston Llew is so talented and he deserves success. I have listed this Spiritle in my Ebay shop with reasonable price ( profit goes to my "buying my own home" fund). It has a lot of viewers and watchers and yesterday I got first bid. I am torn...since it is so hard to let it go, one of my best finds ever, from charity shop. But If I wont let items go...I could become a hoarder.

  Here you see a picture of charity shop finds from my last hunting. It is a good representation of my taste. And I can't believe that I found all these from one shop.  Framed print.  I have no clue who the artist is. It is signed but I cant read out the name. I don't know...it appealed to me. I find it quirky and cool. Its large, so it makes a statement in the room.  The vase with flowers. Pottery, pottery, ceramics. My current obsession. I am so attracted to ceramic. Texture, glazes and a fact that it is handmade. The vase with flowers is by Suzanne May , Irish Dublin based ceramic artist. About her   Her workmanship quality equals with another great Irish potters like Louis Mulcahy and Colm DeRis. Although I love it, I listed it at my Ebay Shop as I collect money to buy myself a home.   Bowl   Bowl is not signed but I liked it rustic rough look and it gives me artsy vibes. I've been using it and find it good size for soup and I also had grapes served from there. Pitche

Galway Potters Market 2023

 Galway Potters Market. It is usually held one summer weekend next to Spanish Arch in Galway.They are doing it annually since 2011. I've been trying to go each year I think since 2018.  Insta Galway Potters Market This year I rallied my friend to tag along. I think she liked it, at least I saw her smiling when looking at all the ceramics. Maybe I will convert her? In previous years I've always bought a Dee Quinn's piece. I have small collection already. Unfortunately she was not there this year. I will make a different blog post about her and the pieces I own. I recognized artists from previous years and I think 2 to 3 new artists I have not seen before. Of course I had to buy something.  I ended up buying Turnstone ceramics Robin and Clare Butler ceramics earrings. I had another favorite but it was out of my budget range. I have a very expensive taste.  After the indulging ourselves in ceramics we headed to have a stroll by the river. It is a nice walk across different
