  Here are items that I have found thrifting in January. All from different charity shops on random days I have popped in there. Last post in this blog I said that I am going to thrift in Italy. Yes, I was in Italy and what amazing trip it was. One of my dream came true by visiting Pompeii and Herculaneum ancient towns, also different museums, exhibitions etc. From thrifting front I only found one charity shop were I popped in. I bought three necklaces from there what you see on photo, all chosen because I like glass bead necklaces and all these have aurora borealis coating that makes them sparkle. Bling-bling! I did look up few other thrift shops in Napoli from Google maps but they turned out to be too out of my trajectory. Oh well...you cant do it all. I think this brass and enamel container set find is pretty special.  Super decorative. I see similar for sale on Etsy and Ebay. Someone wrote that these are from India.  Maybe British India? I could not resist this cute b...

  Finishing this year thrifting with a bang, quality items. Amazing dress by Tara Vao. This is cotton and linen combo fabric dress, super comfy and cool boho artsy looking.   I recently treated myself to add addition to my collection. Here is amazing colorful ceramic teapot by Doirin Saurus.   "Do buy or not to buy" I asked myself multiple times when  spotted this Belleek Shakespeare bust . It was most likely the most expensive item in whole charity shop. I decided to: Buy! The stamp beneath dates it to 1980-1993. Vintage and in very good condition.   I found three Spode "Christmas Tree" range dinner plates. As I come from Estonia, I had no idea about this popular Spode Christmas range. When I saw these plates at the charity shop, I instantly loved the illustration. Turned plate around and it said Spode. I did know about the Spode...so I grabbed these. Coming home I Google and learned that this range has 85 years of history. Since it instantly spoke to me without knowing about it...there is a proof that it is a timeless range.   It is odd how my "honey hole" shop almost never disappoints. I got this extra large shopping bag. There is no labels of any sort but its large, strong and good looking for my thrifting. All items I bought that day fit right in and there was room for more.                                                                                                     Cool looking and signed print of James Joyce. Print is in pop art style and you would not be surprised to find this as a street art peace. I think it is pretty iconic representation of loved Irish novelist and poet. The print is pencil signed but hard to read. I did look around internet and found it to be by John Rooney. https://www.ets...
