Thrifting Tuscan charm

Image
I think these are very nice finds from last weekend. On the back round there is another table cloth that I picked. It is by Carolyn Donnelly Eclectic range that she does for Dunnes Stores. I bought one with different design from Dunnes couple of years ago I think for ten times the price I paid for this one now.  There is not often that I see nice good quality table cloths on charity shop, so better to crab when I encounter some. I really like the quality and pattern. https://www.dunnesstores.com/c/home/our-brands/carolyn-donnelly-eclectic Two floral&botanical prints in very lovely hand made frames made by Dekor Toscana. There is little tag at the back of pictures, claiming frames are hand painted and guilted using traditional bees wax.  Reminds me a bit of their Florentine wood painting & gilding method. Very charming pictures indeed. Expensive too  https://www.dekortoscana.it/en-gb/dekor   This is a mystery ceramic plaque. It i a large peace...almost the size of a coffee tab

Thrifting amazing tablecloth and interesting books

Image
On the picture all the items a laying on the top of large tablecloth that I found. Look at it, it is a size of my double bed. In very good condition and no stains. It is cotton fabric having crochet and embroidery all over. Very good condition and I am looking forward to create tablescape with it by layering it with some other cloth... Interesting coffee table book find " Persian Steel" the Tanavoli Collection , by author J.W.Allan As it title says it is about Persian steel craft works, both historical and archaeological. It seem to be a rare and valuable book. Found one for sale on Ebay and also on Amazon for 100 EUR. Wow! Got it for 2 EUR My book has some condition issues...it has some substance on the back of dust jacket and some pages are glued together. I have feeling that it has been on some craftsman studio who has donated it.  "The Book of Gardens" The Ultimate Collection of Stylish Exteriors, A photographic Collection, Volume I by Siobhan Buchanan-Johnsto

I cant be happier about my this weekend thrifting haul.                                                                            UGG EVER AUSTRALIA shoes Scored with this find. Big time. These suede leather shoes scream quality and seem to be warn only few times. They have great artsy look and vibe, they go well with skirt, dress or jeans. Prices for those if new is over 100 EUR. On the Outlet store around 50 EUR, I paid 12 EUR 👏 Yaaay! https://theuggshop.com.au/pages/about-us REFLEXAN LAUFKOMFORT SHOES These sneakers do not have any ware...there is no dirt anywhere, they are brand new. I cant find this brand homepage but what I read out from different online shops is that, it is German premium quality produce. I agree...I have not warn them yet but their look like a great quality. Stitching, material, that green round mark inside is anti-shock "something". Intriguing. I'd say brand new from shop would cost around 60EUR, I paid 12 EUR. Second time / Yaaaay! Hurraay!

Melanie Kempkes oil paintings

Image
I discovered Melanie from EBay. She is German in nationality and does great oils with reasonable prices. She seem to be influenced a lot by Period Drama Movies or Books as she has a lot those themed romantic and sensual paintings along with nature paintings. But I find myself often drawn to her portraits. I am yet to find proper frames for the pictures but since they are smaller format I just decorate around with them by leaning them against anywhere...really.  Here is link to her shop:  https://www.ebay.de/usr/watercolor_arts Support the artists by buying their work!
